Last weekend we made an unexpected trip to see Gramma, Papa, and Uncle Jay in NC. The days leading up to leaving were slightly overwhelming getting everything and everyone ready to go, but it was so worth it! The kids and I left Saturday morning and met Nate near Altoona where he was at a football thing. We ended up being able to do the entire drive down in one day and arrived in Raleigh by 10ish. It was so nice to be able to be there a day earlier than we had expected. We spent Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday until after dinner with my family. The kids loved the pool and Elijah loved seeing the garbage truck videos on Papa's computer. It was a short trip, but so great to be able to spend time with everyone.
