Muddy Puddles

Any Peppa Pig fans will know that one does not jump in just "mud puddles" but in "muddy puddles". That show has become one of Hannah's favorites this summer.  Today we had a really hard, soaking rain that didn't involve thunder and lightning, so as it was ending I let the kids go out and we played in the puddles.  You would have thought it was the best thing ever! We had so much fun, even ended up having a water fight with water from our toy bin and my water bottles. What a great way to spend a bit of our afternoon!

 

 

 

Picture Night 2011

Picture night was tonight at football practice. It signals the near completion of two-a-days and is a great opportunity for pictures of the kids with Dadda. Nate and I have had our picture taken together since the first year we were together...it's so amazing to look back and see our family growing. Today we went up to the school early so they had time to play before pictures and practice. Nate turned on the sprinkler for them to run through and they played tackle football too. It was a wonderful time together!

 

 

 

In Our Yard

Yesterday after Nate got home from practice we all went to play in the yard. It was such a fun time being outside just relaxing and playing together. We all took turns playing tackle football, chase, t-ball, and holding Keilah. We also found the biggest mushroom of all time...I actually thought it was a slightly deflated football the other day when I saw it from our porch. The whole time was a ♥ moment!
