Today I ran in the Pumpkin Run...I have been working really hard to improve my speed in preparation for this race (only my second since Keilah was born) and it paid off. I finished the 5k in 27:17...6th in my age group...at an 8:48 mile pace! I am so happy with my time...a little disappointed with where I placed, but with over 200 participants I can't be too upset! :) The picture below is from the Pumpkin Run website...there's actually a glimpse of me. It's like "where's waldo". I'm number 25 on the far right. :) By far the best part of the race was seeing Nate and my babies just after mile one, cheering me on. They make my ♥ happy!
