A Big Day In State College!

These are my sweet Penn State fans!

 



Nate really wanted to go to the first Penn State football game this year.  His year's playing linebacker for Penn State made it important for him to be on the sideline with his team for the first game.  It would have been too expensive for all of us to go to the game so the kids and I went shopping and had lunch while he was at the game.  The kids did great! We ate at Wegmans and did shopping there and at Target.  It was a lot of fun and they had a lot of comments on their cute shirts.  We met up with Nate at halftime and headed to the mall.  Hannah has been asking to get her ears pierced since Gracie had them done in the spring.  We waited through the summer because of swimming, but thought we might let her get it done while we were there.  It worked out to do it while we were at the mall.  I've been telling her honestly that it would hurt really bad, but then get better, but she would cry.  Well, she proved me wrong! She was such a tough cookie, wincing, but never crying! She is so happy and has been so excited to tell and show everyone her earrings. :)
