This year we are enjoying Christmas in warm North Carolina! It was a marathon trip down here. We left Tuesday night at 11:00 pm to try to beat the icy weather. We actually still hit some of it, but were able to get to Winchester, VA before staying overnight at a hotel. We slept from about 3am till 7:45am and got back on the road by 9am. We arrived in NC around 3pm which wasn't too bad and Hannah did really well in the car. I had brought a lot of "activities" for the ride, but didn't really need any of them! We had snacks at my parents' house and then headed to the Candlelight Service at their church. It was set up to be the "kids" service which was wonderful not to worry about how loud or busy Hannah was being! She looked like a little princess in her dress, too. (Pictures will come later!) We had a good nights rest and came back to momma and daddy's for breakfast. It has been a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so far!
