For the last few weeks Hannah has wanted to eat "eggs and toast" for breakfast on the days I am off from work. She doesn't like to just stand by me waiting so I started letting her stand next to me on a chair. What began as watching has now developed into helping with making breakfast. It's her "job" to put the sausage on the plate so we can cook it in the microwave. She also helps by handing me each egg (and trying to crack them on the stove!) and putting the salt and pepper on the eggs while they are cooking. It has become something I really look forward to each day of the weekend...a tradition I hope we are able to keep!
